Application: It can be used in the production of potassium chemicals, such as potassium carbonate (K2CO3) and potassium phosphates. Other uses also include manufacturing soaps, detergents, grease, catalysts, dyes, alkaline-electrolytic batteries and more. In the agriculture industry, potassium hydroxide is also used as a source in production of fertilizer for crops that are sensitive toward chloride ions.
